How to use the pack?

Cold therapy

Cooling helps reduce swelling, inflammation, and pain
Swelling from a blow/injury
Acute injuries (bruising, sprained paw, minor impacts, etc.)

Heat therapy

Heat helps reduce muscle spasms and alleviate pain
calms and relaxes
recommended for inflammation of muscle connective tissue

Do not apply packs directly to the dog's skin or coat; wrap it in a towel and place it on the affected area. It is recommended to leave the pack on the affected area for as long as the dog is comfortable; remove the pack when the dog starts showing signs of discomfort. Be especially careful not to apply a pack that is too hot or too cold.

Note: Consult a veterinarian and/or a canine physiotherapist before use.

Instructions for cold pack:

Place it in the freezer for at least 1 hour.
Wrap it in a dry towel and place it on the affected area. Return it to the freezer after use until next time.

Instructions for hot pack:

a) The quickest way to heat it is by placing it in boiling water: bring a pot of water to a boil, remove from heat, and place the pack in the water for 8-10 minutes. Wrap it in a dry towel and place it on the affected area. b) In the microwave (750 W): place it in the microwave and heat it for 1 minute. Check if it's sufficiently warm, and if not, heat it for another 30 seconds. Do not heat it for more than 2 minutes at a time to avoid spillage.

Caring instructions for gel pack: the pack can be hand-washed with mild detergent. Do not use alcohol or other solvents for cleaning. Store in a dark place.
