The Ortocanis body support harness was created to provide easier and more comfortable assistance for standing up and walking for larger dogs. It offers trunk support and enables them to lead a fuller life after injuries or in old age.
We recommend it for medium to large dogs recovering from surgeries (e.g., after a herniated disc surgery) or elderly dogs with hip and knee pain. The harness protects the dog's back and ensures proper spine posture when standing and walking.
Made of soft plush, it features adjustable handles and a wide harness that grips the dog's belly and distributes pressure evenly. Secured with a Velcro strap. Machine washable.
Important: the support harness IS NOT SUITABLE for lifting the dog off the ground, the paws must always touch the ground.
How to choose the right size?
1. Use a tailor's tape measure or string to measure the width of the belly area as shown below.
2. Compare with the sizes in the table below.
