For Partial Immobilization of the Knee Joint

The new immobilization brace stabilizes the knee joint articulation. It was developed specifically for cases where the dog needs partial joint restriction, e.g., with a dislocated patella and ligament injuries or surgeries in the knee. The brace is constructed of two aluminum splints (inner and outer), with an angle that allows precise adjustment to the natural anatomy of the dog's knee joint. Soft and durable neoprene ensures compression and stability. Due to its ergonomic design, it easily adapts to any dog.

Which Size to Choose?

  1. Use a tailor’s measuring tape or string to measure the circumference of the paw at the groin height as shown below.
  2. Compare with the circumference in the table below. If you're in doubt between two sizes, we recommend choosing the larger one.
  3. Select whether it is a left or right brace.

Note: Consult with a veterinarian (canine orthopedist) and/or canine physiotherapist before use.

Instructions for use: Put it on the knee without forcing the knee into an unnatural position. Simply spread both parts of the brace, unfasten the Velcro and put it on the paw until you reach the groin. Then secure the brace around the waist and adjust the straps on the bottom so that it does not slip down. Initially, watch for abrasions. Remove the brace during rest.

  • let the dog use the brace for a maximum of 4 hours a day for the first 2-3 days to get used to the neoprene
  • it can be worn in winter and summer, as it will not overheat because the material is breathable
  • the brace can be washed at 30°C on a delicate cycle (without fabric softener)
  • it must be air-dried, not in the dryer!
